DIY PRS Style Maple Top Build Your Own Guitar Kit KBG-PRT-SM

This is a unique take on a modern classic with a solid pre-drilled mahogany body with string through holes and a spalted maple top veneer. The neck is set in (glue in), maple wood with rosewood fretboard and dot inlays.

This kit comes with all required parts for assembly including 2 black uncovered humbuckers, chrome tune-o-matic bridge, 1v and 1t pot with a 3-way selector switch and all required wiring and electronics. Soldering is required and a wiring diagram is included.

    This is the first kit I have ordered from KBG so was not sure what to expect. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the wood used and the finish.

    I decided to replace the pots and out put jack with better quality items but ended up using the machine heads as they were ok. I also replace the bridge with a nice Gotoh Tune-O-Matic unit. The pickups were usable but I replace the neck pickup with a mini humbucker as I really like the combination of tones.
    My advice: Replace the humbucker rings with curved items to make them fit nicely on the curved top.

    This was a fun build without any real problems. I'm already planning my next.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
