DIY TL guitar kit, includes everything you need to assemble and build a TL guitar.

KBG-TL-A

This semi hollow kit is modelled on the stunning thinline and comes with a beautiful unfinished ash wood body with a single piece maple covered top. This kit contains everything required to assemble a thinline style guitar, it features chrome hardware, 3-ply pearl white or plain black pickguard (please select), 21 fret bolt on maple neck with maple or rosewood fingerboard and an unshaped/unbranded headstock. All chrome hardware is provided with 6 sealed machine nuts and top loading hard tail bridge. 1 volume, 1 tone control and a 3 way selector connect 2 chrome humbuckers. Wiring (soldering) is required and an wiring diagram is included.

    Was an okay kit, accidentally sent me the wrong neck but we sorted that out, the humbuckers were incredibly microphonic which means ill have to replace them, but other than that its decent

    Kit arrived in fantastic condition. Lovely maple top and ash body. Frets all good and neck didn't need too much finishing. Went together well, neck fit needed some fine adjustment but nothing major. Sealed, wood stained and lacquered nice. Strung up and left to settle for a few days. Even with humbuckers still has a tele "twang. I accidently put the picks up in wrong, neck at bridge, bridge at neck! To be honest sounds good, so have left them where they are. Great kit guys. Also great with questions post sale. Looking to get the LP next ....... will post pic shortly

    It was my first kit build and im very impressed.the service from kitbuilt guitars was very good. the kit went together very well and sounds great.i had to do a bit of fret leveling to get the action just right but now i have it lower than my epiphone les paul witch was set up by a pro

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
